    I am glad that our guide Lois was born and brought up in Brussels, which despite his youth made him more knowledgeable about the history of the city. Europe and Brussels have gone thru multiple different histories and events from formation of the city, Crusades, burning, invasions, 1800s, world war 1 and 2, and the Holocaust. I peppered him with many questions and he was able to answer most of them directly and research the rest.
