El lugar en sí es digno de visitar. El atardecer en el templo fue memorable. Sin embargo, en mi opinión, la audioguía que nos facilitaron era francamente deficiente, tanto por sus contenidos, en un castellano mediocre, como por el mal funcionamiento del aparato.

La parada en Old Parlament está indicada en un cartel de proveedor, que es el operador de este tour. El tour se hace con una acompañante que te da las indicaciones básicas. El viaje al cabo dura 1.30hs y la ida se hace escuchando una audioguía en tu idioma, que no es buena, sinceramente. Puedes coger el tour con entrada o sin ella. El bus en el que debíamos ir estaba lleno y nos ubicaron en otro aunque estaba casi lleno y no pudimos sentarnos juntas con mis hijas. Bueno, contratamos la excursion con audioguia en español, y la guia en el autobus, no hablaba, nada en español. La audioguia que nos dieron en el autobus, no explicaba nada de lo que ibamos a ver, solo datos de Atenas. Cuando ibamos de regreso a Atenas, explico la historia del templo de poseidon en ingles, no lo entiendo y no nos eneramos de nada.

Well, we booked the tour with an audio guide in Spanish, but the guide on the bus didn't speak a word of Spanish. La actividad fue estupenda, y el conductor excepciona. Solo fue empañada por dos turistas británicos que, en el trayecto de vuelta a Atenas obligaron, de muy malas maneras, a mis hijos a cambiarse de sitio exigiendo que tenían que volver en los mismos asientos en los que habían venido. Nadie conservó el asiento de ida para volver excepto estos dos señores. We had a lovely guide (Spanish lady, sorry don’t remember the name!). The tickets to the temple were well worth given the sunset experience. The temple is surrounded by hills which you have access to with your tickets, there are many beautiful spots to admire the sunset. Some quieter and some busier. The trip was also very nice, along the coastal scenery. The only downside was that the bus itself had a bit of a strange stale smell to it. Maybe the aircon needs cleaning or refurbishment!

La audioguía del autobús deja mucho que desear, muy aburrida y con datos nada interesantes. La puesta de sol con el templo merece la pena, el lugar es espectacular. A la vuelta había tres puntos donde se podía bajar del autobús y a nosotros no nos dejaron en la plaza Omonia, que es donde habíamos seleccionado al hacer la reserva. La guía nos dijo que ahí no paraba el autobús y no llegamos a cenar.

Viajamos en familia, con mis padres que no hablan inglés . La audiogia en español era bastante desastrosa, datos sin importancia y una lectura que hacía que no se entendiesen las frases. Alice, la guía que hablaba en inglés, fue todo un encanto (pero mis padres no pudieron entenderla…) El viaje se hace un pelín pesado para ver un solo templo, pero la verdad es que las vistas del templo son espectaculares. Hay que valorar que se pierde una tarde entera en ver un templo, depende de cada uno

We traveled as a family, with my parents who do not speak English.
